The Rib is not just another book telling women how to be better people. This book drills down to why God Almighty in His infinite wisdom created the woman. The author explains the need for creating the woman, how the woman was created, and the very essence and core of the woman as a wife, mother, caregiver and nurturer. The title of the book itself is a great reminder of the place of a woman in the family and society.
This book does not just explore the metaphoric significance of why Eve was created from Adam’s ribcage but takes the reader through the spiritual importance as well.
Perhaps the most insightful part is how the author gives an exposition of the lives of certain women of the bible whose lives should be a lesson to all women aspiring to have a closer walk with God and better impact in their homes.
This book is recommended for all women. If you’ve already found your purpose, it will encourage you. If you are struggling with your purpose as a woman, it will inspire you. If you’ve ever struggled with your place in the home, family or society, it will guide you.
This is a masterpiece that every woman should have on her nightstand.
